Taylor Momsen is Pretty & Reckless

When you're only 16 years old, it's always smart to have a fallback plan and not just as the Queen Bee of your imaginary high school. Gossip Girl might have finished their season last week, but that's not stopping Taylor Momsen from invading a city near you. Though it helps to have your lead singer be on a hit T.V. show, it's safe to assume that The Pretty Reckless will probably be known as some derivative of "Little J's band."

Momsen recently told MTV News she's inspired by everyone from the Beatles to grunge bands like Soundgarden, Audioslave, Nirvana and, wait for it...Hole. "I can keep going," she said about her influences. "It's really exciting, 'cause it's a vibe that's not necessarily filled right now." The band signed with Interscope, and I was surprised to learn its all her own material. "I write it all. I'm completely involved. You're hearing my life, so you're hearing my diaries."
